I need to replace airbag module on 2004 Trafic after airbags

Customer Question

I need to replace airbag module on 2004 Trafic after airbags have gone off. Does the module have to be replaced by one with the same model numbers on it. There seem to be so many different numbers, some are quite common, but mine seems to be rare. 602 86 92 00.(###) ###-####
Could this be because I have a Passenger airbag fitted and if so could I fit a module that doesn't include the passenger airbag since I believe this is optional?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The part number identifies the part, therefore a module with a different part number is ***** correct. Different part numbers would be used for different module years and different systems used on vehicles with a different build configuration. The replacement module's part number needs to match yours exactly.
