Uhmm i need a radio code, no dont think so my grand chereoke

JA: Do you have a scan tool to read the codes?
Customer: no dont think so my grand chereoke went out of power 2 mounts ago and since then i cant listen to the radio without a 4 digit code
JA: What is the model/year of your Jeep?
Customer: 2002 or 2001
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yeah i have tried doing all sorts of code like 1111...5555 but other than that i dont know what to do

hi, uhmm i can get the Vin number but not sure about the radio one without having to remove the radio, it is the stock radio not sure if that helps

If the volume control is a knob the code is 2432

If the volume control is a button the code is 1614
