I have a 2010 RAM1500. I keep getting a left rear signal

Customer Question

JA: Hello. What is your issue regarding?
Customer: I have a 2010 RAM1500. I keep getting a left rear signal lamp warning on the dash, but the bulbs are new and work fine.
JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: A while. I'm in the UK, so the light arrangement is a bit different. I put new dual lamps in today and the problem went away, then came back. I'm starting to suspect a ground problem.
JA: What is the model of your '10 Dodge?
Customer: Laramie 4x4 Hemi
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I've put new dual filament lamps in.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Just that the UK light arrangement is different.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If you're seeing the warning it's because the TIPM is seeing an incorrect resistance on the circuit. The problem could be in the TIPM but is most likely a wiring or connection issue if the bulbs are new and are the correct ones.

Was the light not working when the bulb was replaced initially?
