Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are several things that can cause the engine to die. You could be losing spark for a handful of reasons including the cam or crank sensor, wiring, even the engine controller itself. You could also be losing fuel pressure due to a pump issue or loss of power ground to it.

The first step in diagnosing the problem would be to check for fault codes. Nearly any issue that would cause a loss of spark would set a fault code and that would give a starting point for testing. Have you checked for codes?
