I,be had a coolant leak garage said it was water pump when pressure
Check done punp replaced home found still leaked the same took back to garage they said new pump pressured the system and caused thermostat housing to leak and they may have rocker cover when replacing thermostat housing.the leak was exactly as before water pump replaced.howmuch would it cost to replace thermos housing.

Customer: Yes it's coolant in it and I've topped up water it leaks about four pints in five miles.water coming font of engine block

The labor to replace the housing is about 2 hours.

It is possibe the pump failed/was the major leak and now since that is now working/not leaking this other leak was found.
