Girl next door 2001zx2. Timing belt failed. Had her turn

Customer Question

Girl next door 2001zx2. Timing belt failed. Had her turn over while I checked if the cam was turning. It was not. Change the belt with all the parts and correct tools. Started right up but ran poorly and received a P0340 code. Replaced the cam sensor and runs good now. Still receive the same code. Did reset it a few times with now cure.

if the cams are out of postion then you will also get the P0340 code so if you're confident in the new sensor and the wiring is OK then I'd say its a good idea to recheck the cam timing

I've attached the correct data sheet
