I have a question our ford ka has a lot of pull to the left

Customer Question

Hi. I have a question our ford ka has a lot of pull to the left side it happens at slow speed i.e through town and also at high speed (on motorways) could this be the macpherson strut as my partner got the tracking done when he got new tyres on it?
JA: How old are the tires? And have they been a problem in the past?
Customer: They are fairly new tyres as we have only had the car a few months
JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: It's a 2001
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No we are not but mot is due in a months time and want to know if it's better to get it fixed or scrap the car
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No thank you apart from the pull its a good little car

Hi there,
First step would be to check the tire pressure. A low tire can cause pulling at all times. The struts even when weak or worn don't cause that much pulling. Please, confirm if the strut is leaking. The strut should be nice and dry. Most likely, if you didn't get into an accident or put your wheel into a sinkhole. If nothing is bent then you just need an alignment. I hope I answered your question.
