Hi, the could won't start, then i've noticed the imobilizer light flashing rapidly
JA: Just to clarify, can you tell me which light it is? And does it blink first, then stay on steady?
Customer: it's red in the shape of a car with a key inside, flashing constantly
JA: What is the model/year of your Mazda?
Customer: 2005 231

Customer: Just thought it might have been flooded, so tried a procedure on from youtube. Then noticed the light. battery now low

You either have a half flat battery, or the immobilizer not reading your key correctly.

Is the car at home now?

If you turn on the headlights are they bright or dim?

If they are dim, you need a new battery.

If they are bright, there is an immobilizer problem.
