From what you have described here this sounds like an internal electrical fault with a control unit/ecu.I have seen issues with body computers like front or rear sam control units that can fail or act up in some cases and cause this issue here.If you have not had the fault codes checked using a fully compatible scan tool to see what codes are set this needs done.Any codes set need diagnosed to locate and repair this issue here.Having the codes checked will help in locating which component is at fault here.I suspect an ecu fault needing replaced.
Make sure all fuses are o.k. as well in all fuse panels in case this is just a blown fuse.
