JA: Have you checked the fuel supply? And are all the spark plugs working?
Customer: Changed the ECU and all electronics
JA: What is the model/year of your Jaguar?
Customer: 2002 jaguar X type 2,5 petrol
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Changed ECU and all electronics yesterday, car started fine
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: After starting it , wanted to change the speedometer , and this is when the security failure came on

If the instrument cluster is replaced the security system and keys must be programmed to the replacement cluster. There is no way to reset or bypass this without programming.
