Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are many things that will cause the engine to die, it's going to take some testing at the time the problem is happening to determine what is going on. You may be losing spark, fuel or both. It's possible that the engine controller isn't awake during the no start period either due to an internal failure or loss of power or ground.

Have you checked for fault codes?
