Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

You may have a handful of things going on, especially depending on what the vehicle is. If the bulbs are good you may have a wiring issue, it could be a relay or module issue, or possibly a blown fuse.

I'm assuming that either the high or low beams do not work?
What model is the vehicle?

Were the bulbs replaced with known good ones?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Hi there, the model is 2006 CRD, 136000 miles. The dip lights do not work, firstly one stopped working, then both. Bulbs checked and confirmed working off the vehicle. The mystery is the fuse issue, have checked every fuse I can find, (under bonnet) but there's no mention of a headlight fuse anywhere in handbook. Am considering replacing headlight stalk, but a replacement is £90 so wanted to explore cheaper options. I wondered also if this was a common fault on these vehicles that could easily be identified by an expert.

Can you post the VIN so I can determine the vehicle model?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Sorry for delay, am hoping this is the number, 6T242726. Since we last spoke have replaced headlight dash board stalk, but no change.
