JA: Have you tested the battery? Is the battery fluid low?
Customer: No have not done that- anything else?
JA: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: MG 2001 convertible

if the battery voltage is low then you'll get the alarm going off

so I'd start by charging up the battery and if the battery won't hold a charge then I'd replace it
