Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The warning lights are coming on because the ABS module is seeing an issue in the ABS system that will prevent proper operation and is setting a fault code. There are quite a few things that can cause the symptoms you're having, the pump motor being the most common to cause a hard pedal.

The first step in diagnosing the issue is to use a scan tool to see what fault codes are setting in the ABS module. Do you know what codes are setting?
