Renault Clii: there. I've a clio dci that will not start

Customer Question

Hi there. I've a clio dci that will not start on the key. However it will bump Start with ease. Also am getting high fuel pressure insert load nearly 1100 bar which causes the stop light to come on but goes off again when I ease off. I've changed fuel filter, pressure regulator but still the same. Glow plugs also have been swapped. I'm at my wits end lol

If I keep cranking the car over eventually I'll get 150bar fuel pressure and she'll Start. Idle fuel pressure is around 280bar

My name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I noticed that your question had not received a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.My info is somewhat limited on your model here but I had seen no one else has responded and would like to see if I can help here.If at any time you feel that I cannot help with this please let me know. This can be due to a fault with the fuel rail pressure sensor itself.I have seen this sensor fail several times before in the past needing replaced for this issue here.If this has not been tested or replaced this should be checked as this sounds like the cause here.if this was already checked into or replaced let me know. If more help is needed, use the reply tab to continue our conversation. If no further assistance is needed, kindly rate my service. You can rate at any time and we can continue to work on your question as this will not close out your question.Keep in mind in some cases it can be difficult to fully diagnose or help repair your vehicle without seeing it and I work on delivering the best possible answer from what I see to work with. Thanks Pete
