I have a 2010 tata zenon 2.2 dicor diesel. The timing belt

Customer Question

Good day.
I have a 2010 tata zenon 2.2 dicor diesel. The timing belt broke this morning, after pulling away from a robot, as I change over to second gear. Normal pull away, no over revving and was at a very slow speed. What other engine damage will occur as a result of this, and the estimate replacement parts I will need, plus a roughly cost to have it repaired.

I am sorry that you have not been helped yet. I just came online and saw your question.

There is a very good possibility of bent valves, which will require pulling the cylinder head to verify.

Possible parts needed will be timing belt kit which includes the belt and tensioner, either new valves or a rebuilt cylinder head, timing cover gasket, cylinder headgasket, coolant, oil.

As to price, I need the last 8 of vin to pull prices and labor times
