This code P0344 is a cam sensor malfunction .

Possible causes of OBD code P0344

Harness or connectors (The sensor circuit is open or shorted)

Camshaft position sensor may be faulty

Camshaft (Intake) may be damage

In most case just replacing the sensor will sort out this issue .
