sorry diagnoistic toll showing fault P2200

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

P2200 is for the number 2 input speed sensor which is on the lead plate mounted to the top of the valve body. If the lead plate was replaced with a new part then you should be able to rule out the sensor itself.

If the sensor has been ruled out then it may be a mechanical failure in the trans, a wiring or connection issue, or it could possibly be the TCM.

Was the trans slipping at any point?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No it was not slipping at all , was like a dream. Where is the TCM in my Mercedes?
Expert:  sprinkles08 replied 1 year ago.

The TCM is inside the vehicle.

Do you have a scan tool to monitor data?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have . Where in the vehicle ?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
In the parameters scan tool is showing 0 rpm on the sensor 2 and 3 and then you can feel a bang sound and sensor read is 8000 and gearbox is in the limp mode now
Expert:  sprinkles08 replied 1 year ago.

Does it not show proper RPM at any time in any gear?

Customer: replied 1 year ago. kind of eBay in Norway. Was brand new orginal mercedes. But for few days ago I tried with the used one and exactly the same thing happened. I need to know where is TCM so I can check wiring
