I hope so I have a o6 Santa Fe 2.2diesel and last week the oil light came on and the car just cut out.but the oil level is fine.

I am sorry that you have not been helped yet. I just came online and saw your question

The first step is to check the actual oil pressure using a mechanical oil pressure gage in place of the oil pressure sensor. Low oil pressure will cause the light to come on and engine to shut off to prevent engine damage. If oil pressure is low then the oil pump will need to be replaced

If oil pressure is good, then replace the oil pressure sensor
