I have a 2003 low mileage Primera SE 1.8 automatic and wish to tow a small caravan ( approx 1000kg) Is it necessary to fit an extra oil cooler?

Hi .

For the engine and transmission you should not need an extra oil cooler .

But if you live in a very hilly location then a transmission oil cooler may be needed.

The transmission has an oil / fluid cooler integrated in the front radiator and this is normally

sufficient ..
