I've replaced front seats from 06 mondeo in my 01 mondeo and got airbag light on now. Pretensioners don't look to have deployed. Fault codes are:
B2290 - occupant classification system fault
B2434 - drivers seatbelt buckle switch circuit short to ground
B2692 - passenger seatbelt buckle switch fault

Hello, I hope the following assists you.

The seat wiring for the Mondeo changed around 2004 including the wiring for the airbags if fitted in the seats and the seat belt circuits, the air bag modules are different on the two different age cars also. The seat belt minders were wired differently, early modules had a separate control for the belt warning later models were controlled by the GEM and RCM.
