Hi I'm Kevin sorry to hear of your troubles the first thing to do is to have fault codes read from vehicle to see where the system believes fault lies this will help pinpoint fault the most likely causes are from wiring faults as airbags themselves don't tend to fail the most frequent are seat belt connection wires that run under seats as these can become stretched and the clockspring which is basically a coil of wire that sits behind steering wheel the trouble with airbag is even if after disconnecting wiring under seats and reconnecting if fault were fixed by this the system will still need to be reset if you can get me fault codes I will be able to help with a full diagnosis I hope this helps
