Ford Galaxy: I've been having some problems with my 2008 ford

Customer Question

I've been having some problems with my 2008 ford galaxy 2.0L diesel.
Sometimes the car "jumps" like a kanagroo, then at high speeds you can feel the car missing slightly.
Also, I get intermittent lights on the dash showing ABS, ESP, Speedomoter not working and car goes into limp mode. Switching off/on clears these lights.
I had these errors cleared and the lights stopped coming on, however I now get an intermittent Engine Malfunction light and car goes into limp mode.
Again, switching the car off/on clears this.
I get some generic lost communication error codes with the PCM, ABS but I always get a P0183 Fuel Temperature (Sensor A) Circuit High error.
I cleared the faults and the car is running fine, I set PIDs on the Fuel Rail Temperature which returns a steady 234 degrees C.
Would a faulty fuel temperature sensor cause all of these issues?

Hello and Welcome! I'm Billy and i will assist you with your inquiry. Feel free to ask if any further info is needed. My apologies for the delay, thank you for your patience.A faulty fuel temperature sensor would not cause the ABS, ESP lights or errors. This temperature indicates either a faulty sensor, or a short in the wiring (which would cause the issues). Now, which codes are you still getting, which warning lights, and what symptoms?
