Hello and welcome! I'm Billy and i will assist you with this. Feel free to ask if further info is needed.
My apologies for the delay, thank you for your patience.
Do you have warning lights or messages on dash?
are you able to move the shifter (from P to N, D etc..)?
And if the shifter is moving, you mean that in Drive, the car stays on one gear, not shifting?
Did you check anything yet?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
The gear is 2 tronic,if the gear is in automatic is remain on drive it won't change, if I put it manually it can only move from n to 1 from to 2 and reverse, the Dashboard break light is on and also saying brake faulty, I have changed the break sensor and the brake swift, but it not changing
Expert:  Billy replied 2 years ago.
You must mean the brake switch (above the pedal).
Having the brake problem could also be the cause of the transmission problem (as the transmission gets input from the braking system, to cancel upshifting when braking is applied).
Did you check the braking system, using a diagnostic computer? and if yes, what fault codes are you getting?
which brake sensor was replaced?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I took it to peugeot but they only say I need to change my ecu.I believe if I change the ecu it won't solve the problem,I pay them to fix the break problem but they couldn't
Expert:  Billy replied 2 years ago.
The most common cause for the problem on your gearbox would be the ecu.
However, i would not get to that before confirming everything else...
They sure plugged in the diagnostic tool, can you confirm which brake sensor was replaced? and what trouble codes they got from the computer? (trouble codes from the transmission, and the brakes)
