Ford F150 2004 5,4 Lariat, Super Crew Cab

Customer Question

Hello Ron i´m from Germany.

I have installed a new power steering pump in my 2004 ford f150 and it doesn´t work. The oil-reservoir is filled up to max. The pump position is correct. The belt ist installed and is properly working. The lines are on the right places. When i dismantle the power line from the pump there comes only a little quantity of oil out of the pump when the motor works.

What can happend? Which mistakes have i done?

Needs this pump a bench bleeding procedure? Needs the power steering system a complete bleeding that all the air comes out?
