Murano: , I'M LOOKING at buying a 2007 murano with 62000

Customer Question

HI, I'M LOOKING at buying a 2007 murano with 62000 miles. It has a loss of power issue which the seller believes to be a cvt issue. Any idea what the issue might be, and worst case scenario for repair costs? Thanks, Mark

Hi I'm kev. You would need to have vehicle plugged in to read faults from. Gearbox to confirm but normally the cvt pressure sensor fails but this sensor is internal in gearbox and will require removal and strip to replace this can be very expensive and is normally a specialist job can range from £1000-5000 dependent on repair or replacement
