This is common for the lights to be off until you operate/drive the vehicle again as the computer is then sensing the issue when the vehicle is moving and will turn on these lights here.This indicates there is more then just the sensor itself at fault.This may be an issue with the wiring to the sensor or the mechanical component the sensor reads off of.
This will need to be checked into further to see what else has been damaged and then from there the damaged components can be replaced to correct this.
