Jaguar XF Premium Luxury: 2010 XF 3.0L 34K WARNING CAME UP

This answer was rated:

2010 XF 3.0L 34K WARNING CAME UP "Limited service available" refer to manual.
I can not find any warnings in the manual related to this warning.
This warning came up after driving approx 400 meters from home after car had been standing stationary for a week. Service due in October

Richard :

Hello and welcome to

Richard :

Other than the warning did the vehicle drive and perform normally? Can have the last six of your VIN?

S02332 There was a kick down in gears, but the vehicle did drive ok back home, which involved a steep incline ascent and desent with no problems.

Sorry for the delay.

There were issues with the turbo systems causing the restricted performance warning even though no real performance issues were felt. To be sure we would need to fault codes that are stored in the ECM. Your vehicle is actually still covered under warranty so this repair should be performed at the dealer. There was also a service bulletin for the ECM software in which there was a reprogramming that is needed. You should be ok driving with this for a couple of days until you can get into the dealer for service.
