Customer Question

We have an 2007, Semi-automatic Peugeot 107, with 45000 on the clock. The problem we are having is the gears seem to take an age to engage. You put the pedal down and the engine revs, but takes some time to change up gear. In addition there is an annoying beeping noise which doesn't have any particular reason to exist (ie nothing on the display), and it comes and goes. However it has become more frequent as the performance of the gearbox has deteriorated. Does this sound like the automatic transmission failing or could it be less serious than that? Please help. hi there is an issue with these gearboxes you need to do some homework on this about manufacturers warranty as a lot of people are having the same problems as yourself.

I wanted to get an indication if this is a serious (ie expensive) thing to fix and if it's not a good idea to drive it in the meantime. It couldn't just be the clutch going could it?
