Right with the water emptied, if you run a drain cycle does the pump start and can you see the impeller spin through the drain filter void?Ok if the impeller is spinning and hose is not blocked there must be a blockage in the hose between the sump and filter housing.

If you open up the washer door whats the model number (ENR) shown on the inside?
Yes if there is no blockage in the filter void, about 2 inches into the void you will see a hole going up you can poke your finger in there and see if you can feel a blockage, but its likely to be abit further up.
I would start by removing the back, remove the heat element and then see if you can see what is causing a blockage, then push a stiff wire through the hole in the void and see if there is any resistance.
