Would you kindly give me the full model number of your appliance please.

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I'm not sure exactly. It has IDS 105 on the front.

OK flooding the base, if you start the appliance does the level of the water go above about 10mm or half an inch?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
No water actually fills in the machine. It just comes out the base. I've looked inside and it's making a draining noise.

OK you have to find out where the leak is coming from - likely a pipe has come off the fill valve and is just flloding the base. Its a case of top off and both sides off and then spot the leak - torch and towels to hand.

How could a pipe just come off. The appliance has not been moved at all. I will try this
Expert:  bonzaco replied 5 months ago.

Many pipes these days are push fit with no clips, if the pressure increases or the pipe is slightly misaligned this can happen. The only other thing is that a plastic moilding may have split.
