VerifiedHi, I'm Daniel welcome to JustAnswer, Im reviewing your question now and will post back with your reply momentarily
When this happens its always the dispenser roof is blocked stopping the water from going down the corretc channel and into the softner section.
What you need to do is remove the drawer again and this time look inside the dispenser box at the roof just above the softner section.
There you will see a hole.
Get some strimmer wire or a long cable tie and push it up there and push as far back as you can go. This will clear the channel in there and hopefully sort the fault from there.
But if after that its still not taking the softner then im afraid you need to remove the top and remove the dispenser unit.
From there you can remove the top section and then try and clear it out from there.
Once thats all clear this will cure the fault and allow the water to flow down the correct channel in the dispenser roof and into the softener section in the drawer.
Try that and see how it goes and let me know.
