My dad has a prestige pr1 d60. The top oven is working fine.

Customer Question

My dad has a prestige pr1 d60. The top oven is working fine. The bottom over is not coming on. No light, no fan and no heat. Any ideas?
JA: What's the make and model of your oven? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: It's a prestige pr1 d60. Not sure how old. Five years plus?
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes, my husband
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: No, I don't think so. As no light / fan coming on, doesn't feel like it's the element

It is likely that the issue lies with the wiring or possibly an open thermal fuse. Has the oven been disassembled for inspection yet?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
No, not yet. We're not sure what bits needed to be opened up at this stage (back, front, top)

I would start at the back, looking for any broken or burnt wiring connections. Let me know what you find, please.
