Customer Question

Filter light came on so checked my book on what to do. Washed the filter in soapy water and left it to dry. Put it back next day, tried a damp towel, barely warm and clean filter light keeps coming on and consequently stops the machine

The temperature sensor is telling the controller that the exhaust temperature is too high. That is usually the result of poor air flow due to a restricted filter. Since we know the filter is clean, the sensor is likely faulty and will need to be replaced, requiring complete disassembly of the machine.
