When the tap light is flashing can you hear the drain pump at the bottom running all the time?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
that is correct - it is running non stop

Ok if the pump is running all the time and you have the tap light flashing then water has leaked into the base of the dishwasher and has activated the flood switch in there.

What you need to do is pull the dishwasher out from under the unit and lie it on its back. This will allow the water to drain out from the base so you will need a towel for this part.

Then stand the dishwasher upright and then this should have reset the flood switch and cleared the tap light and stopped the pump from running all the time.

Now retry a cycle and see how it goes. Fingers crossed its an over fill that caused it so it should be fine. But if you find it does it again then theres a leak under there which you need to fix and find.

To find this you need to remove the side panels and check the workings under there and check the hoses and see what you find.

So try the above and see how it goes. If you need anymore info just get back to me.
