So when you tip the dishwasher backwards and drains the water out i take it the dishwasher is working for a bit till it stops with water in the base again, Is this correct?

If so then you have something leaking under there thats causing this fault.

What you need to do is remove the top (if free standing) and then remove both side panels.

From there you will be able to see the workings under there.

Shine a tourch under there and check for loose hoses.

If the hoses are fine then you need to start the dishwasher going carefully with the panels off and watch it as it washes.

As from there you should be able to see where the leak is comming from.

Check these are they are the most common things to leak on these.

Look at the right hand side and there you will see the wash motor. Check this when its washing and see if water is leaking from there as they are prone for leaking as the seal kit wears and leaks.

If thats fine then check the filling tank on the left hand side and see if you can see whater leaking from there as well.

So check them and see what you find and hopefully you can find the cause of the leak from there.

I can't see under the machine because of the cover, to remove or drop the cover it looks like you need a special tool to unlock it?

They are held on with torx screws star shaped. You need to use the a torx screwdriver bit to remove them then you can remove the panels

There are no screws of any kind that I can see. The only locking position is in the top centre which looks like you need some kind of tee bar to push in and turn to open it?

If its the side panels you are trying to remove then you need to open the door and you will see 2 screws on each side holding the side panel off.

If you have the top off you can then remove the side panels from there.

I ran the dishwasher cycle, with sides/top off, no leaks, slight water gathered at bottom, can see motor in bottom can't access though

Ok if you cannot see the water leaking then it makes it harder as it must be a small leak somewere in the middle.

Now due to the soild bas cover it makes it harder to access the parts under there and getting to the wash motor. As to access it you really need to remove the outer metal tank which is a nightmare of the job.

If you have nver done repairs on these before then you may be best to leave as they are a compleete nightmare even fro engineers thats been doing this for years as the tank never sits correctly once removed as you always get leaks from it refiting it.

So its up to yourself if you still want to carry on with fixing yourself as you may need to remove the complete tank to access the working under there and find whats leaking, Sorry.

Put a wash on, check water light came on after a few minutes. Tilted machine and got water out and it ran. Here is the bottom

That big black screw just adjusts the feet.

You can try and remove the metal cover above the plastic base in the picture and see if you can see from the front section there.

It must be leaking underneath to a level that is activating a cut off/float rising. And this is cleared away when tilting it. So just need a permanent solution

Im afraid giving an answer on whats leaking under there online is near impossible for me as im not there.

Its a case of removing all the panels and set it going and shine a tourch in there and try and see where the water is leaking from. As if it keeps leaking then you will find it its just a case of watching it with the panels off going through the cycle im afraid.
