What sort of noise?

Think it is the rubber rubbing on the drum

Is it a genuine Hoover door seal or a non genuine replacement?

OK try this, open the door of the washer, with the ball of your hand wack the middle of the rear of the stainless steel tub and tell me if that stops the the squeek
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No if I turn the drum with my hand its still squeaks

OK in that case the door seal is not fitted correctly. Take it off again and when you are putting it back on make sure that the inner seal fits both between the inner and outer parts of the drum/tub dont just check the outer part. You shouldnt have a problem with the cabinet part.If that doesnt work then you either have a faulty door seal or you have been supplied with the wrong part.
