My Hoover HDES 668 sometimes runs through wash cycle OK,

Customer Question

Hi. My Hoover HDES 668 sometimes runs through wash cycle OK, then other times suddenly stops mid 'wash' cycle leaving standing water in the bottom.

Correction, half way through 'rinse' cycle. Then machine stops, and all cycle lights turn off. Power light remains on. Unit wont reset, unless powered off, then on reset pre rinse and wash lamps on/flash on, and unit resets OK. Then washer sometimes will work fine, or same problem arise again: half way through 'rinse' cycle machine stops, standing water in bottom.

Hi, welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! The erratic and intermittent operation is indicative of electronic control failure. If it was an issue with the power supply, the machine would go totally dark. I suspect the main control module will need to be replaced.
