I think this is the problem as I have tried to reset the machine by holding the buttons and as I said before the drum light is on

Ok is the control board lights coming on still?

If not and its just the drum light that's on then this will be the control board. But what will have happened is the heater will have failed and blown the control board as well. So you need to replace the heater as well before fitting the new board as if you don't and you turn it on it will blow the new control board straight away.

To replace the control board you need to remove the top of the dryer and then pull out the water bottle.

Then remove the screws on the inside there.

Then you need to remove the screws o the very top if the control panel (if fitted). If no screws then its clips you need to push in to release the control panel and then you can replace the control board from there.

As to the heater this is located at the back behind the buldge cover there.
