Hi, my name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! You have a defrost problem, likely a thermal fuse has opened in the freezer section. That use is in a plastic bubble pack that is usually mounted near the upper right corner of the evaporator coil with the defrost sensor. Do you have a meter to test that fuse for continuity with?

hi there, this machine was iced solid at the back of the freezer which we defrosted. the machine freezer section is now ok and has been for about a week. the fridge section is warm. this machine has an electrical flap which opens and closes in the fridge section. the model number is ***** ((( note this is different from before)))). can i ask that you look at this again as the freezer is not defrosting at all and is working perfect.

The freezer should have no ice at the back of the freezer. It should be self defrosting, turning the heater on about every 12 hours or so. When the freezer ices up on that coil, air cannot pass to get pushed by the fan into the refrigerator. So, we need to determine why the freezer coil is freezing up. The model number you posted is not coming up at all, not even with a generic and shortened Google query. Can you please double check that model number?

hi there, i corrected the model which is RL34LGTC ((( note this is different from before))))

the freezer is working fine and the ice is not building up now. the fridge is warm. this has been running like this for a week.

If the freezer is not frosted up, either the fan has stopped running to push the air up or the damped in the fresh food section is closed. Can you hear a fan running in the freezer?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
i am not 100% sure but will check this but it will take some time. if the fan is running what else could cause this.

Frost build up could cause lack of air flow, too.
