Welcome, my name is ***** ***** I will be helping you with your problem today. If anything isn't clear, please just ask me.
When you start a new cycle, do you hear the drain pump run?
Does it then fill up ith water? Is it then that you get the error?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
The dishwasher is dry, which makes me think the water doesn't come out when I start. It sounds normal when it starts, but then I don't hear the noise associated with it usually. There is some water in the bottom of the washer.

Try this
Pour some water into the base of the machine, up to the normal height of the water.
Select any new cycle and close the door.
Tell me if it empties the water.
If it does, does it go on to fill?
If not, do you hear a humming noise?
Either way, open the door and pour more water in there.
When you close the door again, what happens?

sorry to be silly, how do I know the normal water level of the dishwasher?
Expert:  Rob replied 2 years ago.
OK, so it should be below the level of the door seal, and about 10mm above the filter
