The Electrolux washer/dryer (Model EWX 14450 X) that we have at home is tripping the RCB when we try to use it (It does so in all cycles except Spin Cycle).Hi Daniel, I am having some trouble pulling the washing machine out as it is an integrated one. But if after that its still tripping then you need to remove the back panel on the washer and there in the back of the drum at the bottom is the wash heater element. Were as a wash heater when these short out they do trip the electrics so check them both out and see what you find and let me know.

VerifiedHi, I'm Daniel and I'll be helping you today I've been repairing white goods for 20+ yrs. and currently work for a well-know manufacturer.
If its tripping out then its usually the dryer heater as they short out and go to earth and can trip the electrics.
What you need to do is pull the washer out and remove the top.
There you will see the metal dryer chamber running from the front to back.
At the very back of this chamber you will see 4 wires. This is for the dryer heater. Pull them off and tape them up and then retry the washer and see if it runs without tripping. If it does then you need to replace the dryer heater and that should cure the fault from there.
But if after that its still tripping then you need to remove the back panel on the washer and there in the back of the drum at the bottom is the wash heater element. Do the same on there with the wires and see if this clears it.
Try them 2 first and see what you find as if it works fine on a spin then its not the motor so check the 2 heaters and see what you find and let me know.
