Hi

Ok try this and see what happens.

Remove the plastic trim on the front at the bottom.
On the far right near the filter there should be a green plastic tab.
Pull this down twice and at the same time pull the door handle and this should open the door.

Try that and see what happens and let me know.

Ok have you tryed unplugging the washer and waiting 3 minutes before trying to open the door?

Also have you made sure all the water is out? If not then you need to drain the water out from the filter which you will see at the bottom near that green tab.

If it still isnt opening then you need to remove the top and then look down the front on the inside on the right and there you will see the door lock.

Reach down there and feel on the left hand side of the lock and there you will feel the metal door pin just about poking through the lock. You need to push the pin to the left and at the same time pull the door to open it and see if this does it.

If all the above fails then the door lock has jammed and the only way to open it is to break the lock off. You need to grab hold of the lock but make sure its unplugged and wiggle it untill it breaks off and you can remove it then the door will open.
Once thats open you will need to replace the lock then. Now its not uncommon for these locks to fail like this but usually by doing the above you can normally get the door open that way

Nice one glad to hear you got it open.

As to the door if you close it can you open it again? If so then it could have just been a stuck lock. So sometimes it can just carry on working as normal. But if it happens again then its possibley the door lock at fault here.

As to the filter leak if the water is comming from there then remove it again and give it a clean out were the filter screws in as if you get a bit of muck there it can stop the filter from fully sealing.

Ok the door handle has snapped.

You can just replace the door handle. You need to remove the screws on the inside of the door and then you can split the door rims.

From there you can access the door handle. Before you remove it take a picture of which way the spring goes as once you pull it out it will fall so you need to be able to work out how it goes.

Failing this you can remove the door and take it to your local spares shop and im sure they can fit it on for you.

Hi

No worries. From the sounds of it its just the door handle here thats the fault. Now the handle comes as a kit with the spring, bar and latch so make a note of the position of the spring and latch first before removing the old one.
