Hi I have a whirlpool dwh b10 dishwasher...it runs through its cycle.but stops at the rinse, beeps continuosly and when i open it the steam/water is very hot.... Hi Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but it seems sorted now!Basically, it was hard to tell, but i think it was 3 flashes, and i could hear the heater working even when no cycle was on. Anyway, I took the filter off, and tried to clean to sensor ( i'd replaced it about 18 months ago after it developed a fault).I used a cloth etc to gently clean the whole thing, and so far its been through several complete cycles with no problem.Answer Summary

No, doesn't make logical sense I'm afraid.
3 flashes is a heating failure.
If the heater was working with no cycle on, it suggests the control board is faulty as this directly supplies power to the heater.
If it's the black grid you cleaned, that's 4 flashes and would be the more likely fault.
The pipes coming loose are common.
If it's happening regularly, you need to replace the two covers that they plug into.
This cures the problem.
