Does it fill with water?
If so once its filled do you hear a slight humming noise from the bottom?

Ok that's fine.
First thing make sure the water tap is turned on for the dishwasher.
If that's ok you need a multimeter to test the valve on these. Now the fill hose has the valve built into it its call an aqua hose.
You need to pull the dishwasher out and remove the left hand side panel.
At the back you will see the hose going out and it will have a wiring block there going up the hose.
Test this for resistance its usually in Kohms if faulty then the aqua hose will need to be replace.
If that's ok then check the wiring in the door loom. Remove the outer door and see if theres any broken wires in there.
If that's all ok then its possibley the timer at fault.
Its not a pump fault as the pump only comes on once the dishwasher has filled. So if the water hasn't entered the appliance then the wash pump wont kick in.
Check it out if you can and see what you find. If you need anymore info just get back to me.
