Hi I have a cda...

Hi I have a cda 494 dishwasher which seems to be stuck on the 40 degree rinse cycle. I cannot change the cycle at all.
I have tried recyling power etc. I have switched on with the start button pressed but what ever I do, I cannot move from this cycle. when I close the door `i hear 2 beeps but that is all that happens.

OK, I've misunderstood your question I'm afraid.

Is there a 12 digit number, on a label, on your appliance that begins with 85?

I'm assuming that the model number is XXXXX

Yes it is a CW 494 and the number is XXXXX 494 15710

Hiya,
It's the program button I was asking about.
.
As the buttons click when pressed but there's no reaction when pressed it would suggest a problem with the main control board.
.
Unplug the appliance, take the decor door off.
Take the outer door and facia panel off.
Disconnect the wiring to the control board.
Leave the power to it connected.
.
Plug in and try pressing the program button.
Does it change the program?

Hi,

I am not going to have time to do this tonight as I need to leave home in about 30 mins.

Hi Sorry about the late reply.

I took off the doors, and facia panels etc, and re-seated and cleaned all the connectors etc as they looked a bit tarnished.

Plugged it all back to-gether and away it went.

All fine now
