When you start it will the door actually lock?

And if you set it going on a spin only cycle will the pump run and the drum start to turn?

Ok E51 is a motor triac fault. Now the triacs are on the control board but try this if you can as if the wash motor is down to earth this can also cause the fault you have now.
.
Lean the washer backwards and look under the washer. There you will see the motor. Disconnect the wiring block going to the right hand side of it.
.
Then plug it back in and see how it goes from there. If it starts and fills with water then its more then likely the motor at fault.
.
But if not then the control board will be the fault and will need to be replaced.
.
But im afraid this isnt going to be good news as its going to be either a faulty motor or control board here.
