hi we have a 5/6 year old washing machine (WAS28466GB08) and today during a program (or maybe after) an alarm sounded on the machine and we weren't able to open the door.after switching the machine off and on (at the mains) we now notice that a time indicator no longer appears on the display screen. Therefore I'm thinking maybe the timer is broken because all other icons are illuminated on the control board.Answer Summary
You've just repeated what I said in my last post. If the display hasn't come back after unplugging it for half an hour, it's very likely the main board has failed.
