Open the door of the machine.
Put your hand palm upward on the lip of the inner drum.
Lift gently until the weight of the tub comes on.
Is there a lot of movement?
.
Press down hard on the inner drum.
While pressing down, rotate the drum 1/3rd turn each way.
Does it feel or sound rough?

The fault you have is most likely bearing failure.
The rough noise/feeling and the movement in the drum are classic signs.
.
The machine is fitted with a welded tub assembly (according to the service manual).
The cure is to replace the entire tub assembly, outer tub, inner drum, door seal, new suspension and a few other parts.

I'm afraid this is a very expensive repair. Click here for the replacement tub assembly
