Hello, My Hotpoint aquarius dishwasher door...

Hello,
My Hotpoint aquarius dishwasher door wont shut properly.The dishwasher is probably about 5 or 6 yrs old. I can still put it through the a wash and dry cycle, but since the door problem the dishes do not come out as clean. There dosen't appear to be anything jammbed anywhere. The metal catch at the top of machine doesn't seem to fit into door when closed.. even when forced shut, it still springs open slightly.
I never use salt in the machine, but the all in one dishwasher tablets, and plates have always come out clean before.
Can you advise please.

SparePartsPro : There is an issue with the door lock sometimes where by the closure will roll shut preventing the latch catching in to the mechanism.

SparePartsPro : A quick test for this is to see if the program cycle will start with the door open.
